Getting started with QuantFrame

This guide is to help you get started with QF, if any parts are missing, let us know on discord.

Installation

To install QF, click on Download in the top right-hand corner of the website, this will automatically download the latest version. Once downloaded navigate to it in explorer and double-click to open+install, follow the steps on screen to install QF.

Update

Since version 1.0.0 onwards updating the QF app will be automatic if available; otherwise do the steps of installation again and keep a backup of your old data.

First steps after installation

When opening QF for the first time you will be asked to log in with your warframe.market account, this is needed for QF to be able to manage your listings.

After logging in click on your account icon in the top right-hand corner and open the settings, here you can configure them to your liking. What each setting does can be found here.

Getting started with the trading process

Buying items

To get started with the actual trading part of QF, go to the Live Trading tab.

The first step you need to do every day is to run the Price Scraper, this will grab the trading history for the last 7 days.

The next step is to click on ‘Start Live Trading’, this will create WTB (/and WTS) orders on your warframe.market account. People will see these WTB orders and contact you to sell their items and these will be bought by you

Reselling items

Once you have bought an item from another player, you will need to add it to your inventory via the Live Trading tab.

It’s usually by default in the Stock Items section, but in any case, once there you go to the field ‘Search item’, type and select the name of your bought item, the quantity (how many items of the same type as the one you bought) in the next field and finally how much you bought it for. Then click on the green shopping cart that adds it to your stock. If you acquired more than one of the same item, the Price field is the TOTAL and not the price of each alone. If you have traded more than one type of item, you will need to add each item separately.

With the item added to your stock, QF will create a WTS order, this is the type of order where other people will contact you to buy your item.

Once someone has bought an item, you'll need to either:

  1. click the ‘Sell for listed price’ button (blue button with a hammer) in the Actions tab and it will be automatically removed from Stock items with the value in the ‘Listed Price’ tab as the price
  2. click the ‘Sell’ button (green button with a pen) in the Actions box and enter the price you sold it for manually.

Selling your own items

QF allows you to freely add your own items by adding the items just like in Reselling, but with a purchase price of 0p. QF will then be able to sell those without messing up the statistics.

Remember that QF will always create listings to match the lowest existing price of offers marked as ‘online in game’on the market; you can set your own price of an item if it is in your stock via the ‘Min price’ tab.

Rivens

Still WiP; Currently only offers the option to sell rivens. You do this by adding your riven on warframe.market first and then import those in the ‘Warframe Market’ tab via the blue button.
